John William Tanner, age 88, of Hartselle, Alabama, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at NHC in Moulton, AL. There will be a Graveside Service with Military Honors at Midway Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steve Bateman officiating. Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family.
He was born November 12, 1935 to Roy Travis and Trannie Mae Bynum Tanner.
He was a U.S. Marine Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan Tanner; and his brother, Fred Tanner.
He was survived by his son, John Mark Tanner; his grandson, John Ross Tanner (Brittany); and his great-grandson, John Waylon Tanner.
