John Wayne Malone age 67 of Elkmont, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013. Mr. Malone was born April 2, 1946 in Detroit, MI to Roy H. Malone and Margaret Flora Clem Malone.
Services will be Monday, July 8, 2013 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Point Cemetery.
Mr. Malone was a member of Truth Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.
Survived by three daughters, Madonna Davis and husband, Brad, Becky Powers and husband, Benji both of Elkmont and Jennifer King of Athens; son, Steve Malone of Athens; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Garrett and husband Dave of Athens; brother-in-law, Billy Duggar; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Gennell Terry of Elkmont.
Pallbearers will be Kody Clark, Johnathan Knox, Greg Adams, Dennis Clem, Corwin Clem and Randy Clem. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Terry, Mickey Terry, Fred Clem, Russell Clem, Adam Woodfin, Joe Clem and Jimmy Hodges.
