John Wayford Welch, age 92 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Sixth Avenue Church of Christ, funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Gray Cemetery.
Mr. Welch was preceded in death by his Wife-Wilma Welch; Son-Gary Welch; Grandson-Precious Paul.
He is survived by his Daughters-Brenda Bedford of Baton Rouge, LA and Susan Kreidler of Galax, VA; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
