Funeral Service for John Thurmon Bishop, 80, of Cullman will be 11AM, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 6-8PM at Cullman Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Good Hope Cemetery. Bro. Larry Brown and Bro. James Abbott will officiate the service.

Mr. Bishop passed from this life on September 14, 2021 at The Folsom Center. He was born December 6, 1940 to Olen F. and Mary Clara Blackwood Bishop. He was a minister and member of Living Faith Baptist Church. He knew and loved a lot of people and greeted everyone with a smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents Olen F. and Mary Clara Blackwood Bishop; brothers, Bill Bishop, Larry Bishop; sister, Betty Howard.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Faye Bishop; daughters, Cheryl (Cary) Gentry, Jennifer Roberts; brothers, Robert Theron (Bonnie) Bishop, Jerry (Ann) Bishop; brother-in-law, Jim (Chris) Davenport; sister-in-law, Annie Lou Waldrop; grandchildren, Carissa (Corey) Dell, Jesse Roberts, Alex Roberts; great-grandchildren, Makaela Gentry, Alexis Dell, Christian Dell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
