John Samuel Terry, 16, died Jan. 18, 2016, at Lawrence Medical Center, Moulton, Alabama. He was born Nov. 17, 1999, in Florence, Alabama.
He is survived by mother, Melony Lynn Jones Terry, Moulton, Alabama; sister, Kayla Terry and fiance, Dakota Beecham, Moulton, Alabama; grandfather, John Wayne Terry, Town Creek, Alabama; and grandmother, Wilma Faye Terry, Nashville, Tennessee.
Chandler McDaniel, Mars Hill Bible School, Jesse Gray, Mars Hill Bible School, Seth Jacobs, Mars Hill Bible School, Logan Brewer, Hatton High School, Landon Hagood, Hatton High School, Quinn Rothwell, Hatton High School, Hunter Harville, Hatton High School, and Jonathan Martin, Town Creek, will serve as pallbearers.
He was preceded in death by father, John Gilbert Terry.
Sam was a member of Loosier Church of Christ. He was in the tenth grade at Mars Hill Bible School.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, 6-8 p.m., at Hatton Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Hatton Church of Christ.
Jonathan Layman and Dexter Rutherford are officiating.
Interment will be in Loosier Church of Christ Cemetery.
