John Russell Fortenberry, 53, of Florence, passed away Feb. 9, 2014, at his residence. He attended Lee Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, from noon-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Fortenberry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Peggy Fortenberry.
He is survived by his brother, James D. Fortenberry (Brenda); sister, Ramona Gail Farrar (Gerald); and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
