Mr. John Robert McGee, age 90, of Vernon, passed away Friday, January 28, at his residence.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 11:00 AM, at the Vernon Church of Christ, where he will lie in state 10:00-11:00. Burial will follow at Furnace. Visitation will be Monday evening, 6:00-8:00, at the funeral home.
Survivors include one daughter, Portia Johnson, of Vernon, AL; two sons, Dale McGee, of Jackson, MS, and Ricky McGee, of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Ashley Pebbles, Bryan McGee, and John Ross Johnson; and five great-grandchildren, Charley and Colliin Pebbles, Brodi and Braner McGee, and Jackson Edinston.
