John Richard McNelley, 73, of Cullman, passed away Tuesday.
He was preceded in death by father, John Newborn McNelley, Jr.; mother, Jessie Lawson McNelley; sister, Linda M. Lloyd and her husband Edgar Lloyd Jr.; brother, Darrell Wayne McNelley and his wife Camilla McNelley.
Surviving are wife, Rona McNelley; daughter, Kelly Allison McNelley; step-children, Jimmy Parton, Donald Parton, and Jennifer Goins; grandchildren, Nathaniel J. McNelley and Conswayla Shaylynn McNelley; several step-grandchildren; sisters, Anita (Russell) Atchley, and Deva (Garland) Day.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Friday at 11:00 AM with Tim Rice officiating.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Aaron Knight. Pallbearers will be Benny Howell, Lee Schultz, David Cowan, Rodney Lloyd, Steve Wampler, and Bradley Martin.
Interment will be in the Green Valley Cemetery.
