John Randolph Hamm of Ramer, TN was born January 21, 1935 in Ramer the son of the late John Burgess Hamm and Mary Ethel McMahan Hamm. Mr. Hamm departed this life on November 15, 2019 in Adamsville, TN at the age of 84 Years, 9 Months, 25 Days. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Marie Massengill on April 5, 1957.
Mr. Hamm was retired from the Engineer Department of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was a member and Deacon at Ramer Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, hunting, especially deer, and farming. He served for eight years in the Tennessee Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie Hamm of Ramer; three sons, Keith Hamm and wife Cindy of Ramer, Kyle Hamm and wife Kena of Adamsville, Kreg Hamm and wife Jennifer of Bolivar, TN; six grandchildren, Brandon Hamm, Brent Hamm, Hudson Hamm, Harrison Hamm, Amanda Isbell, Amber Price; three step grandchildren, Seth White, Brandon White, Kara White; three great grandchildren, Davis Isbell, Jonah Isbell, Hazel Price; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hamm was preceded in death by two daughters, Connie Hamm Strickland and husband Brian and Cara Hamm; a brother, Archie Hamm.
