John Randal West, age 68, of Ethridge, TN passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and retired from Lawrenceburg Utility Systems after 43 years in customer service. Mr. West was adventurous and enjoyed activities like fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and motorcycle racing. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen H. and Elizabeth Holt West; and brother, Jerome West.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patti West of Ethridge, TN; son, Colby West (Holly Brewer) of Ethridge, TN; sister, Nita West Pinckley (Dan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; brother, Don West of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister-in-law, Lynn West of Iuka, MS; nieces; nephews; and life long friends, Jerry and Kay Smith of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A graveside service and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2026, with Tim West officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society.
