John Pillow, Jr., age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Loretto, TN, retired from the Lawrenceburg Power System, was a licensed electrician, attended First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg, and coached little league baseball for 46 years. He was an honorary member of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club where he traveled to Honduras volunteering to do electrical work for 11 years, and was a Paul Harris Fellow. Mr. Pillow served his country honorably in the U.S. Army in Korea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen and Alice Payne Pillow.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 03, 2018 and 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM Thursday, January 04, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 04, 2018, with Robert McIlwain officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Abigail’s Plan
