He was born December 30, 1955 to Carl Brashears and Bobbie Catherine Lively Brashears in Knoxville. He was a master carpenter and loved to work
outdoors. His favorite work was building and construction. He never met a stranger and found a friend in everyone he met.
Survivors are two children, Clara Mae Brashears of Hohenwald and Larry Brashears of Knoxville; and siblings, William Brashears, Carlene Wilburn,
Mary Needham, Ethel Whitton and Carl Brashears, Jr., all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Tori Brown and Bryson Howell of Hohenwald, Madison Harbor,
Dylan Harbor, Payton Roberts, Presley Roberts and Camden Williams, all of the East Tennessee area; and several close nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Brashears was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deborah Sue Kelley Brashears; siblings, Charles Brashears, Teresa Byrd, Barbara Moore, Zola Strickland, Almeda Adkins and Bobbie Goode; and grandchild, Maliea Brooke Brashears.
The family will visit with friends on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A Service will follow at 4:00pm.
