John Paul Wakefield, age 68, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Wednedsay, March 15, 2017 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. He was the owner of Action Office Products for 35 years.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Scott Cemetery.
Mr. Wakefield was preceded in death by his Father-Curtis Wakefield; Mother-Avice Wakefield; Father-in-law-John Pate; Mother-in-law-Myrtle Pate; Brothers-Ralph Wakefield, Larry Wakefield and B.C. Wakefield; Sister-Carolyn Shubert.
He is survived by his Wife-Sheryl Pate Wakefield; Daughter-Andrea Franklin; Sons-Jonathan Wakefield (Merri) and Scott Wakefield (Barbie); Sisters-Amelia Elkins (Clarence) and Melinda McGinnis (Mickey); Brothers-Huey Wakefield (Carolyn), Ray Wakefield (Sue) and Donald Wakefield (Serreda); 8 Grandchildren.
