JohnFuneral services for Mr. John Paul Kaale, age 76, are scheduled for 7 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Lexington with Rex McBee and Bro. Tommy Crocker officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 AM on Friday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kaale passed away Monday at his home in Lexington, TN. He was born December 5, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN to the late John F. and Winifred Hathaway Kaale. He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight and a U. S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington, the American Legion Post 77 and Blue Springs Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He worked with his wife for the last 2 years for the Henderson County Election Commission. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Carol Kaale of Lexington, two sons, John Karl Kaale (Rhonda) of Indianola, Iowa and Howard Tweddle III (Tracy) of Chicago, IL, two daughters, Teresa Helms (Tony) of Johnston, Iowa and April Hays (Phillip) of Lexington, one brother, Allen Kaale of Florida, and nine grandchildren, Roxane, Rachel, John Karl Kaale, Daniel Helms, Stetson and Bailey Hays, Morgan, Noel, Valerie, and Rachel Tweddle.
Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
