Mr. John Patrick “Jack” McCloskey, Jr., age 73, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Parsons. Mr. McCloskey was born January 5, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late John Patrick McCloskey and Helen Deloris Thornhill McCloskey. He married Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Walker on June 22, 1974. He worked as an information specialist for the U. S. Government in Philadelphia for 14 years, as did Becky, and then he later worked with 3 different law firms. He enjoyed trains. He and Becky moved to Henderson County in 2016. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Becky McCloskey; his brother, Daniel “Danny” McCloskey; and his sister, Honey Scarangelli.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Monday, April 17, 2023 at Union Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, 11 AM- 1 PM at Union Baptist Church.
