John P. Aslan, Jr. – Obituary

John P. Aslan, Jr., 75, passed away Wednesday morning. Mr. Aslan served in the U. S. Air Force and had a long career in manufacturing. He enjoyed listening to Jazz and as an avid woodworker, he enjoyed building things with his hands. Mr. Aslan retired to Huntsville in 2016 to be near family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Aslan; brother, Robert Aslan; and infant son, Jeffrey Aslan. Survivors include his son, John P. Aslan; daughter, Tracey Aslan-Caram; grandchildren Molly Aslan and John “Jack” Aslan; Peter Caram and Kira Caram; sister, Ether Saringer; stepchildren, David Vazquez and Donna Pruner; step-grandchildren, Jackie Rodriquez, Anthony Kirkman and Greg Gilbert: step-great grandchildren, Olivia Rodriquez, and Yuna Gilbert.

A celebration of memories of Mr. Aslan’s life will be held Sunday, November 11th at 2:30 in the Bistro of Magnolia Trace Retirement Community.
