John Nathaniel Self, 65, of Haleyville, entered into rest on May 22, 2018.
Mr. Self was born on June 23, 1952, in Haleyville, Alabama.
A private service will be held at a later date.
John is survived by his daughter, Lydia Hubbard and her fiancé David Vickery; step son, Shane Davis and his wife Terry; mother, Effie Self; brothers, Randy (Sarah) Self, Vernon (Brenda) Self, William Self; sisters, Dian Vickery, Effie (Mac) Campbell, Sandy (Martin) Bundt; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was “Pawpaw” to 4 grandchildren, Heath Self, Brianna, Jada and Jamaal Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Self; brother, Richard Self; sisters, Yvon Self, Leda Parrish, Eunice Colefield and Ruby Corbin.
