John Michael Lancaster, AKA Mikeydoo, died on Wednesday, September 16,2026.
He was a cabinet and furniture maker in Texas and Florence, AL, owner of Top Knotch Cabinets in Florence, AL, learning the trade from a former employer. He formed lifelong friendships with the people he knew in the building business, loved playing music in many venues with people he became friends along his travels around the country Mike also loved fishing and Alabama Football.
He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Barbara Pennington. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Galbreath, Huntsville, AL and his sister Debbie Bump (Fred), Florence, AL. daughter, Alisha Kilby, and two granddaughter, Faith and Hope Kilby, North Carolina, nieces, Kristyn Rhodes, Laurie Sammons, Florence, AL and nephew, Matthew Bump, many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his Father Hendrick Lancaster (Speedy), his Mother Camille Litton Lancaster, Brother James (Jimmy) Lancaster.
