John McDonald, age 79, of Dora passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at his residence. John was a hard worker who loved dogs and enjoyed painting. He especially loved his grandchildren. There are no services scheduled at this time. Bell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Hazel McDonald; brothers, Jimmy McDonald, Gene McDonald, Franklin McDonald, Robert Otis McDonald and Joe McDonald; and sisters, Evelyn Butler and Freida Freeman.
He is survived by his daughter, Regina Rogers (Bill); son, John Owen McDonald; mother of his children, Brenda McDonald; granddaughter, Shana Rogers; grandsons, John Dalton Rogers and Ayden William Rogers; brother, William McDonald (Lila); and a host of other relatives and friends.
