John Mack Rushing, age 71 of Readyville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday September 15, 2026. He was born in Opp, Alabama and grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents John William Rushing, and Juanita Dorough Rushing.
Mr. Rushing was a Christian and had attended Auburn University. He was a retired Sheetmetal Worker and was a member of SMART Local 177.
Mr. Rushing is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dulce Maria Tarafa Rushing; son, John William Rushing and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Hailey Rushing, and John Mack Rushing; sister, Cindy Brody and husband Charles; nephew, Ryan Brody.
Visitation will be Saturday September 19th 12 Noon until 2:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow. www.woodfinchapel.com
