SHEFFIELD – Christmastime at Discount Dan’s is always a fun time of the year. If you’ve never gotten over there during the season, you should go take a look. The store is filled with the Christmas spirit. Lots of toys, tools, fishing gear, dolls, games, light bulbs, etc. There’s something there for every family member.
But our readers probably never guessed that General Manager, John Glenn would come up with this twist of a Christmas sale. A total Star Wars fan, John is unabashedly proud of his formidable knowledge of Star Wars trivia. So he turned this Christmas sale into a Star Wars-themed event… “The Sale Awakens”, yes a not-too-subtle reference to the upcoming block-buster sequel.
