John Lester “John L.” Fisk, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday.
Mr. Fisk was a native of Madison County, a veteran of the US Navy, and retired as Captain from Huntsville Fire and Rescue Department after 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie B. and Elizabeth “Bessie” Keel Fisk; and four brothers: Marty, Emmett, George, and Lee. Survivors include his devoted wife of 56 years, Vera D. Gunter Fisk; loving daughter, Christina “Christie” Fisk Tolen (James W.); grandson, John William Tolen who he adored; a number of cousins and a host of loving friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Buddy Peake officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. I In lieu of flowers,
