John Larry Polly passed away Monday, May 26th, 2025, at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on November 4th, 1947 and was 77 years old.
Larry was born and raised in Giles County. He was the owner and operator of Pulaski Furniture for over 30 years. Larry was also a member of the PES board for 10+ years, and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer and local member of Hillcrest County Club. Larry loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren and teaching them to play sports after his retirement.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 30th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Morgan and Mary Francis Harrison Polly and sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Dean.

Wife, Linda Polly of Pulaski, TN
Son, John Michael (Cecilia) Polly of Burns, TN
Daughter, Melinda Leigh (Bob) Tate of Stella, TN
2 grandchildren
4 great grandchildren
Sister, Frances Hinson of Mt. Juliet, TN
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
