John “Johnny” Franklin Baker, 70, formerly of Trinity, died on Thursday morning, March 31, 2016. Johnny was a member and Deacon of Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. He was a police officer for Trinity Alabama Police Department for many years and retired from Monsanto. Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt Franklin Baker and Madras Lila Jefferies Baker; brother, Jerry Dewitt Baker. He is survived by his wife, Lois Baker; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and William Timm; grandchildren, Alexandria and John Scott Timm all of Knoxville.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
