John Guy Putnam, age 69, of Gurley, died on Monday September 22, 2014.
Mr. Putnam is preceded in death by his parents, William Guy and Lillian Mae Cranford Putnam.
Mr. Putnam is survived by his wife, Sandra D. Putnam; his children, Steve Putnam and wife Mary, Shelia Kidd, and Stephanie Helms and husband Glen; his brother, William Earby Putnam and wife Faye; his sister, Myarenne Britt; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday September 25th at 12pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with burial at 3pm in Diamond Cemetery in Marshall Co. AL. The family will receive friends on that day from 10am until 12pm at the funeral home.
