John Franklin Bagwell, Jr. passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his residence. He served in the United States Army, retired inspector at Reynolds Aluminum and was a member of the Bear Creek Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery in the Dime Community, with Randal Foster officiating.
John is survived by his brother, Doyal D. Bagwell; grandson, Daniel Bagwell; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Edna Dye Bagwell; wife, Kathryn Rapp Bagwell; son, Dudley John Bagwell; sisters, Faye McInnish, J. Foy Smith, Edith Oliver and Yvonne Bagwell.
