Mr. John Estel Baker, 92, of Decatur, formerly of Boaz, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at his home.
Funeral will be today, Oct. 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Union First Congregational Methodist Church with Brother Wayne White, Brother Doyce Putman, and Brother Charles Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Double Bridges, Boaz. Albertville Memorial Chapel to direct.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Bobby) Dixon; son, Rick (Lina) Baker; grandchildren, Tiffany (Kerry) Bonner, Wes Baker, Tara (Tyler) Guin; great-grandson, Zachary Bonner, and stepgrandson, Zaied Baker.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Eleena Baker.
