Born Thursday, September 12, 1946 in Ardmore, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Moore, and Evelyn Moore, Brother Junior Moore, Sister Roberta Wright, John enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Moore, Greenbrier, TN, Sons, Wayne (Donna) Moore, East Limestone, AL, Steven (Dana Mooney) Moore, Lexington, TN, and Andrew (Ashley) Meadows, Smyrna, TN, Sister , Sue McGaha, Ravenna, OH, 6 Grandchildren, Jonathan , Tyler, Mariah, Bryce, Peyton, Presleah and 1 Great Grandchild Sophia

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 3:00 PM with David Dollar officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
