John Edward “Johnny” Cummings 69, of Vernon, Alabama
Johnny was born on August 1, 1949, in Booneville, MS to the late John Edward Cummings, Sr. and the late Kathleen Johnsey. He graduated high school in Booneville, MS. Johnny worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved animals, especially horses, camping and deeply loved his family and friends.
Died: Thursday, June 20, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi from a long extended sickness.
Visitation: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, following visitation, at the funeral home chapel.
Burial: Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Officiating: Bro. Arnold Sheets, Marvin Leonard, and Michael Noy.
