Funeral services for Mr. John E. Scott, age 93, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, May 4, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. Eugene Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Scott passed away early Wednesday in Adamsville. He was born March 20, 1925 in Fayette County to the late James William and Gertie Howard Scott. He was a retired Flagman for the State of Tennessee and a member of Ridley’s Chapel Apostolic Church. He enjoyed fishing and going to church. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Frances Hopper Scott; three brothers, Robert, Sam, and William Scott; and two sisters, Pearly Thomas and Melvanie Fault.
