John Dickens passed away on August 25, 2022 at age 75. The Graveside Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 1 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brad Dickens, Chris Nixon, David Dickens, Mark Sinclair, Adam Dickens, and Alex Dickens. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
John Hubert Dickens was born in Nashville TN to Lelai Beal and Wesley Adder Dickens. He was the owner of Lebanon Plumbing and Electric. He enjoyed tinkering, playing softball and golf, and gardening. Mr. Dickens is preceded in death by his wife Sheila Dickens, parents Lelai and Wesley Dickens, and siblings Mai Denney, James Dickens, Wesley Dickens, Bobby Dickens Jr., and Bobby Gene Dickens. He is survived by children: John “Brad” (Kathy) Dickens, Chris Nixon, David Dickens, Candice (Mark) Sinclair, Adam (Bethany “Boo”) Dickens, and Brandi (Edward) Firmalo; grandchildren: Alex Dickens, Olivia Dickens, Gracie Nixon, Cole Dickens, Knox Dickens, Gavin Dickens, Autumn Sinclair, Jaxon Dickens, Taylor Dickens, Wyatt Firmalo, and Adrian Firmalo; siblings: Dorothy Brewer and David (Bobbie) Dickens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
