Mr. John David Stafford, age 69, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Monday 29th, 2026. He was born on August 9th, 1956 in Parkin, Arkansas, He was a truck driver and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over forty years where he dedicated his life and symbolized his faith in baptism. He was a hard-working man and a great and devoted grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosemary Pruitt, and by his sisters, Regina Stafford, Renata Burns, and Ivy Stricklin.
He survived by his wife Julie Hope Stafford, children Shanon Kelly, John (Stephanie) Stafford, Jr., Michelle (Neil) Overholt, Neil (Dawn), Lambert, and Arianne Lorance. He is also survived by grandchildren Autumn Reimink, Andrew Gilmore, Aaron Stafford, Greg Sortor, Alyssa Chamberlain, Konnor (Ann) Lorance, Cameron Schultz, Emily Schultz, Isaac Lambert, and Madilyn Lamber, great granddaughter Arianna Lorance, sister Sunday (Scott) Brown, as well as nieces and nephews, Carrie Burns, Amanda (Matthew) Yeakey, Elvis (Dawn) Stricklin and Scott Romero.
Mr. Stafford will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18th, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1015 Harrison Ferry Road, McMinnville, TN. Chester Murphy will officiate.
