John David Owens, 64, of Danville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Cullman Regional Medical Center Cullman, AL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Kenneth Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Rutherford Cemetery.
Born on February 29, 1960, to John and Libby Stiles Owens, John was a Truck Driver for 40 years.
Survivors include his son , Josh Owens; four grandchildren; two sisters, Susan (John) Atchley, Jerita Stewart (Perfecto); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Libby Owens; wife, Melissa Owens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
