Mr. John David Morgan, age 58, of the Union Hill Community of Morgan County, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Morgan was born on August 21, 1964 in Morgan County, Alabama. His parents were Jethro Richard and Kathryn Morrow Morgan. John attended the Little Gethsemane House of Prayer in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. He worked in construction as a carpenter.
John had a wide variety of interest. He took great pleasure being active, involved and enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, Country music, Alabama football, and reading his Bible. He was also a fan of NASCAR auto racing and Dale Earnhardt.
Family cherishing memories of John include: father, Jethro R. Morgan; sons, Johnathon Morgan (Tina) and Matthew Morgan (Casey); brother, Ronnie Richard Morgan; sisters, Donna Tungate (Cecil) and Betty Ludwig (Tom); five grandchildren, Dezbrianna Johnson, Isabella Kelley, Chloe Kelley, Piper Kelley and Cadence Thornberry; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Morgan and his brother, Rickey Morgan.
The immediate family invites all of John’s extended family and friends to join them Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at The Little Gethsemane House of Prayer, in Lacey’s Spring, for a memorial and Celebration of Life service. Brother Johnathon Morgan will be officiating.
