John David Layman, 65 of Town Creek, Alabama passed away on January 3, 2026, at
NAMC in Florence.
Born February 16, 1960, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Thomas Leroy Sr. and Nancy Kaye Layman. He was married to Carolyn Mae Murphree Layman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine, and son Joel Layman .
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, John (Rachel) Layman, Sarah Layman, Audrey Cubbison, Darrell Mundy; Grandchildren, John (Hazel) Cubbison, Michael (Kelsey) Cubbison, Cristy Cubbison, John Riley, Jr. (JJ), Melodie Riley, Jaydan Layman, Jaice Layman, Isaiah Riley, Harmony, Riley, Scarlett Layman, Nathan Murphree, Annabella Murphree, Christing McDonald, Cloie McDonald; sister, Lorna Layman, brother, Thomas Layman and a host of friends and family who will miss him dearly.
