Funeral service for John Daniel Powell, 78, will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church with Malcolm Carter II and David Sheaver officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Powell’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church.
Mr. Powell died on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1942, in Morgan County to Walter Jasper Powell and Daisy Ellen Powell. John Daniel Powell was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Cullman, AL and a respected member of the Powell’s Chapel community. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his parents, 12 brothers and sisters, and one adopted niece.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Shadix, Brian Murphy, Kim Ball, Glenn Cobb, Lee Duke, Michael Campbell and Joe Powell
