John Daniel “Danny” Jones, age 71, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Townley First Baptist Church, he will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery. Jimmy Jones, John Cooner and Wayne Page will officiate.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his Parents-Maude and Paul Jones; Brothers-Carrol and Ricky Jones.
He is survived by his Wife-Mary Pearl Jones of Jasper, AL; Daughters-Carol Parvin of Carbon Hill, AL, Karen Bell of Townley, AL and Cathy Uptain (Jimmy) of Jasper, AL; Sister-Linda Walters (Jim) of Salem, AL; Brothers-Solon Jones (Margaret) of Jasper, AL, Jimmy Jones (Shelba) of West Blocton, AL and Donald Jones (Cheryl) of Parrish; AL; Grandchildren-Lucas and Erin Parvin, Ryan and Cade Bell, Wil Uptain.
Pallbearers will be Lucas Parvin, Ryan Bell, Cade Bell, Wil Uptain, Alan Self and Harve McGough.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Horse Creek Hunting Club and Townley Volunteer Fire Department.
