John Clarence Everett Spier, Sr. of Harvest, AL passed away January 28, 2018. He was born to Constantina Nefford on May 26, 1938 In San Antonio, TX.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 17 years in Viet Nam and enjoyed the privilege of seeing the wonders of the world. After this he worked for 12 years with NASA and felt honored to work with the space shuttle programs. The last chapter of his work career was to be a self employed contractor as a computer specialist. After this, he enjoyed being retired and helping his wife take care of the grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kilman Spier, and they enjoyed 38-1/2 years of marriage. Daughter Joanna Grace Jenkins and husband Mike of Harvest, AL; daughter Constantina Wiggs and husband Eddie of Harvest, AL; son Patrick Eugene Spier and wife Diane of San Antonio, TX; son John Clarence Everett Spier, Jr. of San Antonio TX; daughter Lisa Coleman husband Jimmy of San Antonio, TX; Allison Spier and Kevin Spier; Grandchildren Mitchell Alex Jenkins, Harrison Lee Jenkins, Zoe Grace Wiggs, Isaiah Timothy Paul Wiggs, Ashley Spier, Jessica Jones, Johnna Spier, Casey Spier, Andrea coleman-Rankin, Matthew Coleman and Justin Coleman.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Constantina Nefford, and son, Timothy Allen Spier.
