John Christopher, 85, of Huntsville passed away, Monday, Dec. 20th, 2021. John was born in El Paso, TX and graduated from University of Texas, El Paso with a degree in Business. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a Lt. Colonel and had a second career at CAS in Huntsville. John was a talented artist, handyman and was an active volunteer at St. Stephens Episcopal Church. He was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathy; son, Mark; daughter, Kelly; seven grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at St. Stephens Episcopal Church Monday, Dec. 27th at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Jeff Evans officiating.
