John Christopher Chandler, 48, of Cordova, passed away on June 18, 2026, at his residence. He was a hard worker who loved his family and enjoyed working on his family farm. He was a member of Oakman First Baptist Church. He loved guns and mustangs. He was an Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Baker Chandler; brother, Tony Chandler; Papaw, T.A. Baker, and Mamaw, Sarah Jane Porter.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Bridget Chandler; children, John Hayden Chandler, Hunter Chandler, Harper Chandler, and Aaron Chandler; daddy, John C. Chandler, Jr.; sisters, Angel Chandler Kerns (Jeremy) and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (Tom); brother, Jamie Chandler; and grandmother, Shirley Baker; and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm at Bryan Cemetery in Dora. Everyone is welcome to meet at the graveside.
