John Cecil Carr, age 96, passed away February 10, 2014, in Mesquite, Texas. He and his wife, Edith, were residents of Decatur and members of St. John’s Episcopal Church for many years. John is survived by his wife of 66 years; daughters, Laura and Pam; grandchildren, Aidan Kelly and wife, Meghan, Logan Kelly, Bevan Roen and husband, Phil, Caitlan Kelly and Susannah Carr; sister, Elsie Negley; and several nieces and nephews.
