John C. Rudd, III; age 53 of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on August 12, 2021. John was born November 12, 1967, in El Paso, Texas but grew up in Sylacauga, and later graduated from Samford University (BSN) and ASU (OT). He was a licensed Occupational Therapist in Alabama. John was preceded in death by his parents, John Clarence Rudd, Jr. (2006) and Martha Frances Rudd (2004). He is survived by his children Alissa Frances Rudd (18), Mark Thomas Rudd (13), John Clarence Rudd IV (5), and sisters Virginia Rudd Martin (Steve), Sara Kathryn McHugh (Jim), and Jolena Rudd Cline (Tommy). John left this earth prematurely but is now home and at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 4:13-17). The family plans to hold a private memorial service.
