John C. Pickett of Florence, formerly of Russellville, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 76. He was a graduate of Russellville High School and a retired pipe fitter.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10: A.M. at Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville, with Joe Hand officiating.
Mr. Pickett is survived by his two children; Ricky Pickett and wife Tammy; and daughter, Melissa Shirah and husband Eric. Three grandchildren also survive him: Breana and Calvin Pickett, and Brent Shirah. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives survive him as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.D. and Kate Vandiver Pickett, and his sister, Kay Pickett Seibert.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
