Mr. John C. Campbell, 83, passed away Tuesday November 24, 2015 at the NHC Health Care in McMinnville. He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on June 24, 1932 to Hollis Buford and Louvienia Hobbs Campbell who preceded him in death along with his wife, Anna Lou Cummings Campbell; brothers, Charlie and Melvin Campbell; sisters, Florence Myers and Hazel Caldwell. He attended Altamont Baptist Church and was a Logger.
He is survived by his son, Jason (Tammy) Campbell; daughters, Ethel (Mike) Tidwell, Kathy Griffith, Deborah (Travis) George, Darlene (Rocky) Pack and Melissa (Kenny) Cruise; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Little Johnny Myers Cemetery. Visitation: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
