John Buddy Anderson, 69, of Gurley, passed away Thursday. Mr. Anderson was employed with Allgas for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Anderson; brother Pete Anderson; and two sisters, Ruby Thompson and Frances Hobbs.
Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Hobbs (Jerry); three grandchildren: April Hobbs, Casandra Shepard, and Whitney Hobbs; five grandchildren: Jackson Hobbs, Brooklyn Hobbs, Landon Hobbs, Bentley Hobbs, and Maddie Grace Hobbs; nine siblings: James Anderson, Robert Anderson, Larry Anderson, Ray Anderson, Bill Anderson, Myrtle Haggermaker, Barbara Nelson, Irene Carroll, and Trish Anderson; a number of nieces and nephews; and best friend Kristi Lindsey.
Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Rice Cemetery.
