John Bradley Thomas Jr., age 78, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at North Alabama Medical Center.
He was a graduate of Colbert County High School and was retired from Reynold’s Metals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bradley Thomas Sr. and Grace Rumph Thomas, and sister, Ann Thomas Turner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gail Gasque Thomas; daughter, Kelli Thomas Behel and husband, Jeremy; two granddaughters, Mallory Gann Ray and husband, Jeremy and Molly Gann Richardson and husband, Dustin; and his great-granddaughter, Lilly Claire Richardson, who he loved and adored and was the light of his life.
Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Officiating will be Greg Woodall, of Florence First and Greg Pace, of Muscle Shoals Church of God.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Behel, Jeremy Ray, Dustin Richardson, Eddie Walls, Joel Walls, and Trent Butler.
