John Anthony Jordan, Jr. was born June 29, 1971, in Murfreesboro, TN, and died December 29, 2021, in Decatur, AL with family at his side. He was the son of John A. and Joan Williamson Jordan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Margret “Maggie” Jordan and Sadie Jordan, both of Portland, OR; brother, Michael Jordan (Anita) of Knoxville, TN; sister, Gretta Jordan-McDaniel of Decatur; and baby niece, Tilly Joan, who gave him so much joy and love the last months of his life; niece, Heather Jordan; and nephews, Luke Jordan, Seth Jordan, David Kimbrough, and Win McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jordan and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Williamson, and nephew, Gabriel Jordan.

John was an avid Pittsburg Penguins fan. He loved gardening, fishing with his daughters, shade tree mechanics, and handyman work. He was always ready to help anyone that needed help. He was the first Eagle Scout of Troop 15 in Knoxville, TN. He was a computer program designer at Fort Knox for over 20 years.

He was cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
