Joh Howard Isabell, also known as Bulldog, Silly John or Johnnyhead, passed away Wednesday, July 21 at Southern TN Regional Medical in Lawrenceburg.

A private service will be held by his family at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born December 6, 1968 in Columbia, he was the son of the late Stanley Isabell and the late Judy Jones Whitley and he was the husband of Marian Patterson Isabell.

He was an avid sports fan of the Vanderbilt Commodores, UT Vols and the Pittsburg Steelers. He invented a football card game using the Uno deck, but left no instructions on how to play it. John loved watching old reruns, westerns and sitcoms on TV. He was member of Leoma Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by an aunt: Jo Ann Jones; his in-laws: Leon and Mary Ann Patterson; brothers and sisters-in-law: Marty, Nate, Gabe, Bette, Molly and Robert; a multitude of friends and co-workers.
