Joel Wayne Abecrumbie, age 74, Hamilton, AL passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at North MS Medical Center, Hamilton. He was born in Marion County on Tuesday, December 30, 1941 to Claude and Jewell Abercrumbie. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Stancil and Bro. Sonny Nix officiating. Burial will be at Fulton Bridge Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Jewell Abercrumbie; brother, Hugh Abercrumbie; grandchild, Joel Edward Clouse. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Joyce Abercrumbie; daughter, Krista Abercrombie; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted with the service.
