Joel Sylvester Newman, Jr, age 89 of Huntsville, died Sunday at home. A native of Georgia, he has lived in Huntsville for the past 18 years. Mr. Newman served in the US Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Newman is survived by his two sons, Joel Newman & Jared Newman, half-brother, Eddie Berndett, and four grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home. No services are planned.
